In 2013, de Silva, at the invitation of the directors of Poltrona Frau, interrelated the priceless craft skills of the historic company with research, experimentation and the design method that he had founded and pursued at Audi Design, aiming the result at discretionary consideration, not at the standard of the supposed comfort of an armchair.  The armchair is dubbed Luft, expressing the extreme lightness of the material used. Luft in German means “air”. Padded, it hovers softly and lightly: its caressing hollow does not constrict, does not reject. If anything, it indulges the most casual and even irreverent uses with respect to the ceremonious posture adopted at other times and places.
